Bryce Canyon National Park
Dec 7
This was the park I was looking forward to the most and it did not disappoint. The hoodoos are absolutely amazing and the sheer quantity that are concentrated in this park is astounding. You’ll have more pictures to look through than you probably care about but it was too hard to choose!
Even though we woke up to snow that morning (which the girls were ecstatic about) we decided to head into the park anyway. We met up with Joshua’s dad at the Visitors Center which was exciting in and of itself because we hadn’t seen him since before the pandemic started. The girls were thrilled to introduce him to the Junior Ranger program.
Dad, Poppi and the girls hiked down into the amphitheater and got to walk among the hoodoos there. Even though my knee rehab has been going great I decided not to push it with this steep hike but don’t worry…mommy enjoyed alone time while checking out the incredible views!
We definitely hit all the major viewing points along the rim. Inspiration point was worth the hike up!
The girls became official Bryce Canyon Junior Rangers. Adding to their collection. They LOVE doing the activities and learning about each of the parks through this program.
Before we left we hit one more trail. A couple miles down from the visitors center you’ll find Mossy Cave Trail. We did it in the later afternoon and it was gorgeous. The cave wasn’t worth seeing but the creek trail and views were great.
